Client: Greaton Development Pty Ltd
State: NSW
AEC was engaged to prepare an Economic Impact Assessment to analyse the likely economic impacts arising from redevelopment of the Site as envisaged in the Greaton Proposal. The Site was expected to generate ongoing economic/ operational activity through (1) economic activity generated by new residents working from home (dispersed jobs) and (2) economic activity in the LGA as a result of direct expenditure of residents in the new dwellings. The assessment of economic impacts was undertaken as a comparative assessment of the base case (no action) against the proposal case (planning control amendments). The proposal case was revealed to demonstrate higher levels of economic activity through the direct and flow-on impacts associated (per annum) with increased household expenditure.
