North West Queensland Regional Organisation of Councils Strategic Plan & Infrastructure Masterplan

AEC supported the North West Queensland Regional Organisation of Councils (NWQROC) through two major initiatives. First, the Enabling Infrastructure Masterplan was developed to prioritise transport, bulk water, energy, telecommunications, housing, community, liveability, and tourism projects across 11 councils, underpinned by extensive engagement with Mayors and CEOs. Second, AEC partnered with stakeholders to deliver the NWQROC Strategic Plan, setting future priorities and ensuring a united regional voice on the key issues shaping Queensland’s North West.
