Project Title: Economic Impact of New Infrastructure Contributions

Description: The purpose of this study was to consider the effect that newly proposed infrastructure contributions would have on the viability of greenfield and brownfield developments in the Fraser Coast region, as well as any flow-on effects that may be felt by the broader economy (i.e. the construction industry, employment and the social fabric of Hervey Bay). The report also undertook an analysis of infrastructure charges against industry benchmarks, as well as a comparative assessment of housing affordability in the Fraser Coast region relative to surrounding areas.
